The Road That Leads Home Exhibit - July 25 thru August 16
Young artists create an exhibit that celebrates interesting and historic roads of the United States--Route 66, The Pacific Coast Highway, Florida’s Overseas Highway, The Blue Ridge Parkway, and Ohio’s own Lincoln Highway, to name just a few.

Watercolor Guild Annual Exhibit - September 11 thru November 1
The vibrant Watercolor Guild exhibit "Spirit of the Brush" opens September 11. The exhibit is free and open to the public during Wayne Center for the Arts regular business hours.

Opening reception on Thursday, September 11, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Open to the public.

Wayne Center for the Arts is looking for art educators to help plan and teach visual art classes for preschool and elementary age students. Wayne Center for the Arts offers multiple teaching assignments at the Walnut Street School location, as well as occasional outreach opportunities throughout the community.

We are looking for teachers who are enthusiastic about art, love teaching children, and are responsible, reliable, and flexible. Good organizational skills and good classroom management skills are required. Familiarity with the Ohio Department of Education 2012 Visual Art Standards and an art education degree are preferred.
