Wayne Center for the Arts is the area's oldest and most comprehensive visual and performing arts organization. For more than 40 years the Center has made art and art education available to the citizens of Wooster and Wayne County.
BE INSPIRED - Day Trip Series
Join Wayne Center for the Arts for three exciting cultural day trips to see Disney's The Lion King, fiddle sensation Natalie MacMaster and the world premier of BalletMet's contemporary Cinderella. Event tickets, round-trip coach bus transportation and time to explore the city are included in each day trip ticket.

Wayne Center for the Arts is looking for art educators to help plan and teach visual art classes for preschool and elementary age students. Wayne Center for the Arts offers multiple teaching assignments at the Walnut Street School location, as well as occasional outreach opportunities throughout the community.
We are looking for teachers who are enthusiastic about art, love teaching children, and are responsible, reliable, and flexible. Good organizational skills and good classroom management skills are required. Familiarity with the Ohio Department of Education 2012 Visual Art Standards and an art education degree are preferred.
